Sravathi AI was founded in 2020 by Dr. Kishan Gurram, a visionary leader with over two decades of global experience in multinational organizations including GE and SABIC. The company emerged from a profound understanding of the challenges facing pharmaceutical and chemical industries, combined with the recognition of AI's transformative potential.

The company's name "Sravathi" reflects its commitment to the free-flowing stream of knowledge and innovation, much like the sacred river, continuously nurturing and sustaining life through scientific advancement.
In 2019, Dr. Gurram had already established Sravathi Advance Process Technologies Pvt Ltd, focusing on flow chemistry and continuous manufacturing technologies. Building on this foundation, Sravathi AI Technology Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2020 to specifically address the intersection of AI and life sciences.
The company began with a clear focus on creating novel drug molecules and chemical compounds using artificial intelligence, molecular modelling, bioinformatics, biochemistry, and chemical engineering.
